Colour: Extremely variable – pale to dark grey/brown with various lines and patches.
Size: Wingspan 30-40 mm
Comments & Applications: An extremely variable species, widespread across most of Britain, scarcer further north. Frequenting woodland, gardens and other bushy habitats.
