Taxonomy Identification: Family Geometridae. First named by Haworth 1809
Colour: Forewings a mix of browns with black stripe. Hindwings similar.
Size: Wingspan 15-20 mm
Comments & Applications: Distributed widely over most of Britain, inhabiting woodland, parks and gardens.
