Colour: Pale grey-brown base colour with darker lines and distinct broken blotch on the forewing and dark notch on tip; hindwing pale grey.
Size: Wingspan 27-32 mm
Comments & Applications: A woodland moth with its main strongholds in the southern half of England and Wales, odd colonies further North. Always a popular species with enthusiasts and a nice addition for Entomological reference collections, education, film, media, artistry and interior design
