Taxonomy Identification: Family Nolidae, First named by Hübner in 1813
Colour: Forewings white with sandy brown and black markings. Hindwings white.
Size: Wingspan 12-18 mm
Comments & Applications: A scarce species recorded on Jersey in 1963, since then appearing in isolated spots around the south coast of England. A rare species ideal for Entomological reference collections, education, film, media, artistry and interior design
