Taxonomy Identification: Family Erebidae > Arctiidae. First named by Walker in 1859.
Colour: The topside (recto) forewings are black with large white patches. The abdomen brown with mustard yellow tip. The underside wings (verso) are almost identical but a little paler.
Size: Wingspan 40-45mm
Comments & Applications: This attractive black and white tiger moth is a nice collectors species. It is also a useful in trade applications, including bespoke applications where uniqueness is desired.
