Taxonomy Identification: Family Geometridae, first named by Hufnagel in 1767
Colour: Overall colouration mottled blacks and browns with distinct white spot on forewing; hindwings mottled. Intensity of colours highly variable.
Size: Wingspan 30-38 mm
