Taxonomy Identification: Family Geometridae, first named by Linnaeus in 1758

Colour: Variable colouration from dark brown to light brown forewings overland with black lines/patches. Wings appear slightly glossy often with has a purplish tinge

Size: Wingspan 38-45 mm
