Taxonomy Identification: Family Noctuidae. First named by Linnaeus in 1758.
Colour: Forewings yellow, thickly freckled with orange with veins and lines coloured ferruginous brown. Hind-wings white edged in yellow.
Size: Wingspan 30-40 mm
