Taxonomy Identification: Family Arctiidae. First named by Grum-Grshimailo, 1900
Colour: The topside (recto) forewings are black with creamy white patterns. The hindwing is white with black marginal spots. The abdomen is yellow and black striped.
Size: Wingspan 50-65mm
Comments & Applications: A rare northern tiger moth species found in the Russian Far East and Alaska. One for the serious collector.
