Taxonomy Identification: Family Arctiidae. First named by Poda in 1761
Colour: The topside (recto) forewings are dark brown with creamy white lines. The hindwing is red with black spots. The abdomen is pale reddish orange with longitudinal black spots.
Size: Wingspan 50-65mm
